We Are Completely Supported By Your Advertising
Town Media newspapers are free of charge to the reader and delivered by U.S. Mail to every home listed on our annually purchased mailing lists. In addition, stacks of newspapers are dropped off every month to business, schools, municipal offices, libraries and other locations in their respective towns.
About 9,000 copies of each paper are printed, mailed and distributed.
Our online editions and archives provide additional exposure for your printed ads, and ensure that your ad will never get misplaced or “recycled.” Readers can always come online to find your phone number, web address or other information, even months or years after your ad appears in the print editions.
Advertisers, large and small, know they can cover an entire town through Town Media. They have responded enthusiastically to our formula — we currently serve about 250 advertising accounts. Because advertising is our only income, you can expect us to do whatever we can to make your advertising as easy, efficient and productive as possible.
Please note that “advertising” means paid space, which is completely separate from article space. Buying ad space does not necessarily lead to placement of articles. The editors are responsible for decisions about articles.

Display Advertising
Click here for current display advertising sizes, rates and information. As seen in the mini example on the left, display ads are visual – they can include photos, drawings, logos, etc. The look is completely up to you. We offer a choice of 14 shapes and sizes for your display ads, from 2-inch squares to full-pages. There are various discounts for advertising multiple times and/or in multiple papers. You should reserve Display Ad space by the 10th of the month before your ad will appear. For example, to advertise in one of our November issues, you should contact us by October 10. You may submit your own display ad, or you can have our artists design one for you. Please note that display ads produced in Microsoft Word, Publisher, or other common programs usually have resolutions that are too low for printing on our current newspaper presses, which run at 170 dpi.
